About Us

A Legacy of Excellence in Polytechnic Education

The idea to establish Tower Polytechnic was conceived in 2005. This idea was translated into reality when Towerpol Business College Inc., applied to the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) for the establishment of Tower Polytechnic, Ibadan in 2006.
We got approval in 2010, when we moved to our permanent site at Ire-Akari Estate, New Garage Expressway, Oluyole Extension, Ibadan. Since then we have been growing from strength to strength. Tower Polytechnic is founded with the driving force of establishing excellence in learning as well as providing opportunity for the teaming population who yearn to acquire, pursue, or/and improve their academic attainment for economic self-actualization. Our drive is to inculcate in the students the need of not only aiming at passing the exams and obtaining the certificate but also of acquiring knowledge.

Wolex Polytechnic is a federally approved private institution established in 1999 following the January 1993 decree permitting private polytechnics in Nigeria. We were founded with a clear purpose — to provide practical, technology-driven education that supports national development and empowers young Nigerians.
